Billing Rights Summary For Your Home Equity Loan or Line of Credit
In reference to your Glass City FCU Home Equity Loan or Line of Credit, please note the following information in case of errors or questions about billing:
If you think your bill or statement is incorrect, or if you need more information about a transaction on your bill or statement, please:
- Notify us in writing no later than 60 days after we sent you the first bill or statement on which the error or problem appeared:

- Include the following information in your notification to us:
- Your name and account number
- The dollar amount of the suspected error
- Explain the error in detail and why you believe there is an error
- If more information is desired, please describe the item you are uncertain about
- You may contact us by telephone about a possible billing or statement error; however, doing so will not preserve your rights
Upon our receipt of your written notification, please note you will not have to pay any amount in question while we are investigating, but you are still obligated to pay the parts of your bill that are not in question. In addition, while we investigate your item in question, we cannot report you as delinquent or take any action to collect the amount in question.
