How to Join

Becoming a Glass City member is easy!

Simply print and bring your completed application in to any Glass City branch. (Applications will not be accepted by mail or fax.) When opening an account, members will need to bring their driver’s license and a second form of identification.

At Glass City we make it as quick, easy, and effortless as possible to switch your accounts to the credit union. Simply refer to our checklist to help you make the switch!

The checklist contains information on what to bring with you to Glass City when opening your account, and what your next steps will be once you have established your Glass City Federal Credit Union account.

Who is Eligible to Join?

All individuals and businesses who live, work, worship, or attend school in these Ohio counties:

Lucas County

Wood County

Fulton County

Ottawa County

Immediate family members may also be eligible to join. Please call any of our branches to verify your eligibility.

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask you for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
